VOLUNTEER VEHICLE INFORMATION

Auto Glass Academy's primary campus is located in Round Rock,TX. Click here for a list of all our training locations.

Please note that we will need your vehicle the ENTIRE day from 8am-5pm you are scheduled for your replacement. If your vehicle is completed prior to 5pm, we will notify you.

Also, please be aware that we DO NOT provide any kind of shuttle or rides for volunteers while their vehicles are being worked on. We are a training facility only and are not able to offer this service.

*Our Round Rock campus is within walking distance of the IKEA shopping center, Round Rock Outlet Mall and Scott & White Hospital on University Blvd (appx .6 miles).

Since 1992 Auto Glass Academy offers this program to the public as a free service in return for the opportunity to use your vehicle for the purpose of training our students.

All work is supervised by Nationally Certified Instructors for the auto glass industry.

Auto Glass Academy does accept contributions via Venmo-@AutoGlassAcademy or on Paypal to help cover the cost of supplies for students.

ADAS - Advanced Driver Assistance Safety

If you have any of these features, RECALIBRATION of the systems may be necessary. In this case, you will need to bring your vehicle with a FULL tank of gas, empty all cargo (golf clubs, bowling balls, sports equipment, etc.) and ensure tires are properly inflated PRIOR to drop off.

Auto Glass Academy utilizes high-quality, industry approved, aftermarket replacement glass. This glass will NOT have vehicle logos/emblems typically shown on OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) glass. Please remember that while your vehicle is being serviced by Auto Glass Academy, it is important to understand that even when all necessary information about your vehicle has been given beforehand, sometimes there are details about some vehicles that are unknown even to the owner and that can lead to a misdirection about everything necessary to accurately perform the work without issue.

Your automobile is in very capable hands and will be cared for in the highest regard while being serviced by the Auto Glass Academy.

Most automobile owners are unaware of the importance of proper auto glass removal and replacement. If you have an automobile accident, the structural integrity of your vehicle remaining intact and keeping the occupants as safe as possible depends greatly on the proper installation of auto glass, especially the windshield.

There are however, certain circumstances that can occur that we may ask for your patience for the benefit of your safety.

We strive to ensure that every detail is uncovered and dealt with properly but sometimes unforeseen vehicle attributes, forgotten or unknown modifications or just simple misinformation about your vehicle can result in Auto Glass Academy having to keep your vehicle a bit longer than pre-arranged.
